Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

Counselling skills are increasingly required and employed in various workplace and community settings. This course is designed to appeal to candidates who are involved in roles such as social care, health care, nursing, human resources, probation and many others and for candidates who would like to look at the possibility of engagement in these areas.

No formal or prior qualification is required for entry on this course although candidates will be asked to attend a pre-course interview to assess suitability.

Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies

This course is designed for candidates who wish to progress further in their studies and training in the field of counselling. It introduces elements of counselling such as Counselling Models and Ethics and Standards and combines this with skills practise and supervision together with exercises around personal awareness and self-reflection.

Students will need to have obtained the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills or equivalent.

Level 4 Diploma in Counselling

This course is designed for individuals who want a career in professional Counselling, working for an agency or for an organisation who employs Counsellors.

The programme is also suitable for individuals who want to develop and use counselling skills in their work.

Intermediate Counselling & Counselling Skills Course

For participants to be able to apply an understanding of cognitive behavioural theories to enhance their work with service users changing their substance use.

Ideally you will have a knowledge of basic counselling skills either by attendance at a learning centre or by working in the field of social care or similar and have a desire to broaden your knowledge further and maybe become involved in the area of counselling in the future.

This is a FREE course as part of our charitable objectives.
