What to expect from our Resource CDROMs
Every participant on our courses gets a fabulous easy to use CDrom of Resources. After the training you can pop it in your own computer and there you have your own electronic library of information and resources related to the course. Every CD is unique to the course being run but always include:
- PowerPoint handouts – not just the slides, but with detailed notes explaining what the slide is about, the key points the trainer made to that slide and including relevant references. So much more useful than the usual PowerPoint handouts, which make sense at the time, but then when you look back, you can’t actually remember what the trainer said to the slide and you’ve lost your handwritten notes. With this approach, the detailed notes are done for you, allowing you to relax and engage in the discussions.
- Full details of DANOS (or other occupational standards) the course is mapped to
- Instant click and go links to useful websites
- Extra handouts explaining the background to the topic
- Relevant policy documents
In addition, if relevant you will get useful resources you can use immediately, for instance worksheets to use with service users or leaflets to give out etc.
If the course is a bespoke course we are bringing to your area, the CD will include lots of local information relevant to your area, including links to local websites. We often get feedback that our bespoke training is locally specific and therefore more helpful.

Despite us being based sometimes far from where we are delivering the participants learn more about local services in their area. This is because, as a team, we are excellent at research and we always do our homework before bringing our services to you.
Our CDroms help us achieve our overarching aim of delivering events that really make a positive impact back in the workplace. We have discovered that people use CDRoms more frequently than paper resources and find it easier to share with colleagues. CDRoms also help us to reduce our impact on the environment significantly.
